Where
it started!
"Battlestar Galactica Classic,"
by Glen A. Larson and Robert Thurston. Forward by Richard
Hatch. Cover by Frank Frazetta. This paperback volume
collects for the first time the novelizations of two
classic Battlestar Galactica television episodes:
the three-hour television pilot "Saga of a Star World"
and the two-hour television episode "The Gun on Ice
Planet Zero."
At the end of a bloody thousand-year
war against an invincible enemy, an uneasy peace has
finally been achieved between humans and the dreaded
cyborg warriors of the Cylon Empire. But peace soon
turns to bloodshed when the Cylons launch an unexpected
attack against humanity's twelve Colonial worlds, wiping
out most of the inhabitants. But the surviving warship,
the battlestar Galactica, leads a fugitive, rag
tag fleet to safety amongst the stars. Pursued by the
Cylons, the Colonials search for a mythical shining
planet known only as "Earth."

Battlestar
Galactica first graced the airwaves in September
1978. While many fans remember the three hour television
airing (the episode was called "Saga of a Star World"),
MCA/Universal also released Galactica as a motion
picture in theaters around the world. That version is
available in NTSC (U.S.) VHS
videocassette format. And now it is available
in DVD
format!
This is your chance to order the
first-ever Battlestar Galactica DVD! See Richard
onscreen as Captain Apollo! (And, yes, we hope MCA/Universal
will eventually release the complete original television
pilot shown in 1978...)

Galactica mini-series on the U.S. SCI-FI
Channel.
Australia's EzyDVD
